Warranty terms

Last updated: October 2026

Every system Lodge Lighting installs carries the TruLight lifetime warranty. Lifetime means the rated life of each part: 100,000 hours for the lights, which is 11.4 years from installation, and five years for the control box. The full manufacturer terms are below. Your signed agreement is the controlling document.

Permanent Lighting Limited Warranty

This warranty applies only to systems installed by a certified TruLight dealer using genuine TruLight components purchased from TruLight. DIY kits and systems not installed by a certified TruLight dealer are not covered.

Warranty Coverage

Control box and lighting modules: full replacement warranty for five (5) years from the installation date.

Lighting modules: after the first five years, a prorated replacement warranty from year six (6) through year 11.4. That is 100,000 hours of operation, based on continuous 24-hour use. Control box coverage ends after year five.

This warranty applies only to the lighting modules and control box. All other components, accessories, or materials are excluded unless otherwise stated.

Warranty Registration

The warranty period begins on the installation date.

Customers must submit the warranty registration within 30 days of installation. Failure to submit within this timeframe may result in denial of warranty coverage. Submissions can be an emailed copy of signed agreement to warranty@thetrulight.com.

Product-Only Coverage

This warranty covers replacement products only.

It does not cover labor, including installation, removal, reinstallation, service calls, shipping, or other associated costs.

Prorated Coverage

During the prorated period (year six through year 11.4), if a lighting module fails, replacement product credit will be issued based on the remaining unused portion of the warranty.

Warranty credit is provided in product only and not as cash or refunds.

Genuine TruLight Components

The system must use genuine TruLight components throughout, including the control box, lights, track and wiring.

Adding third-party controllers, non-TruLight power supplies or power sources, non-TruLight wiring or track, unauthorized connectors, or other devices not approved by TruLight voids the warranty.

The manufacturer may deny any claim where a failure may be related to non-TruLight components.

Installation and Service

Installation, modification, repair, or servicing by anyone other than a certified TruLight dealer may void the warranty.

Warranty Claims

Warranty support is provided through TruLight's certified dealer network. All warranty claims must be submitted through the installing dealer and must include the original project paperwork signed by the customer.

The manufacturer may request photographs, installation information, or other documentation, and may inspect the installation or request return of defective products before approving a claim.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, accidents, power surges, or external events such as storms or fire.
